Last Week's Virtual Asset Investment Products Inflow of $3.4 Billion... Third Largest Ever

Last week, there was a net inflow of $3.4 billion (approximately 4.9144 trillion KRW) into global virtual asset (cryptocurrency) investment products. This is the third largest ever.
On the 28th (local time), CoinShares reported in a report that "there was a net inflow of $3.4 billion into virtual asset investment products last week," stating, "This is the largest inflow since mid-December last year and the third largest ever." They further stated, "Market uncertainty due to tariffs and a weak dollar has increased demand for virtual assets," and "Investors are looking for safe assets to replace gold."
In particular, there was strong demand for global Bitcoin (BTC) products. Last week, Bitcoin products recorded a net inflow of $3.188 billion, reaching $132 billion in assets under management (AUM). Ethereum (ETH) also saw an inflow of $183 million, ending an eight-week streak of net outflows. Sui (SUI) and Ripple (XRP) recorded net inflows of $20.7 million and $31.6 million, respectively.
However, Solana (SOL) was the only one to record a net outflow. Last week, $5.7 million was withdrawn from Solana products.

By country, the inflow from the United States was strong. Approximately $3.3 billion was net inflowed from US-based virtual asset products, followed by Germany and Switzerland with $51.5 million and $41.4 million, respectively. In Canada and Brazil, $1.6 million and $600,000 were withdrawn, respectively.
Meanwhile, $17.4 million was also inflowed into stocks related to virtual assets last week. Most of it was inflowed into Bitcoin mining ETFs.
