The proportion of renewable energy used in Bitcoin (BTC) mining has exceeded 50%. As a result, there is interest in whether Tesla will resume Bitcoin payments.
On the 29th (local time), according to The Block, Cambridge University stated in the 'Digital Mining Industry Report' that "the proportion of renewable energy used in Bitcoin mining increased from an estimated 37.6% in 2022 to 52.4%," and "the main energy source for mining has also shifted from coal to natural gas."
Specifically, the proportion of renewable energy used in mining is nuclear (9.8%), wind and hydroelectric power, etc. (42.6%). In the case of natural gas, it increased significantly from 25% in 2022 to 38.2%, while coal decreased significantly from 36.6% to 8.9%.

We will suspend Bitcoin payments," but also said, "If the proportion of renewable energy used by miners reaches about 50%, we will allow Bitcoin payments again."
However, it is known that there has been no official statement from Tesla yet.
