There is a claim that even if a staking feature is added to the Ethereum (ETH) spot exchange-traded fund (ETF), it will not lead to fund inflows.

On the 30th (local time), Eric Balchunas, a Bloomberg ETF analyst, stated on a podcast, "Even if a staking feature is added to the Ethereum spot ETF, it will not significantly help increase fund inflows," adding, "The reason for the low ETF fund inflows is not the absence of staking, but because the price of Ethereum has not been continuously rising."

He continued, "The biggest issue with Ethereum is its performance. When the price of Ethereum rose last December, ETF fund inflows also increased," and "To increase fund inflows, a strong upward narrative and several months of upward trend are needed."
