Changpeng Zhao, founder of Binance, pointed out that 99.99% of artificial intelligence (AI) agent tokens are useless, emphasizing the importance of utility through the combination of AI and virtual assets (cryptocurrency).

On the 30th (local time), Changpeng Zhao stated during a discussion at the Token 2049 Dubai conference held at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, "There are many AI agents with tokens today, but none that are practically helpful," and "99.99% of current AI agent tokens are useless. I want to see AI agents and token use cases that can actually be used."

He said, "AI can completely change the user experience of virtual assets and the way we interact with blockchain," adding that AI technology will transform everything, including app experiences, customer support, and risk monitoring.

He further emphasized, "The virtual asset industry must transition to the AI industry. We must embrace the advantages of AI technology." Additionally, he noted, "Just as virtual asset companies have grown faster than internet companies, AI companies will grow at a much faster pace than virtual assets."

He also mentioned that virtual assets greatly aid AI development. Changpeng Zhao added, "AI technology will also adopt virtual assets," and "It is not suitable for AI to swipe cards or receive SMS codes for currency payments. Eventually, their currency will be virtual assets."
