World (WLD) is partnering with Visa to launch the 'World Card' that supports Worldcoin payments.

On the 30th (local time), at the World event 'At Last.' held in San Francisco, USA, a World representative announced, "With this card, you can pay with Worldcoin both online and offline."

The World Card is directly linked to the wallet within the World app, allowing users to use their Worldcoin at Visa merchants worldwide. During payment, the coins are automatically converted into fiat currency, and merchants receive payments as usual. Issuance is limited to those who have completed 'proof of personhood' through World ID.

A reward feature is also planned. Users can receive Worldcoin as a reward when using World’s AI-related subscription services and use it immediately without a separate conversion process.

The World Card is expected to be launched first in the United States in the second half of 2025, with plans to expand services to other countries thereafter.
