Stablecoin protocol Etena (Ethena) has partnered with the TON Foundation to integrate its own stablecoins USDe and sUSDe into the Telegram ecosystem.
According to The Block, a cryptocurrency-focused media outlet, on the 1st (local time), the two parties announced plans to convert sUSDe into 'tsUSDe' on the TON network, making it directly accessible through the Telegram wallet. tsUSDe will be available not only in the Telegram default wallet but also in TON-compatible wallets such as Tonkeeper and TONHub.
Guy Young, founder of Etena, stated, "The collaboration with TON is a turning point in expanding USDe as a digital dollar savings tool for global users." Previously, Etena had announced plans to launch Telegram-based payment features and TON applications as part of its business strategy this year.
Meanwhile, USDe is the third-largest stablecoin by market capitalization, following Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC).
