On the 1st (local time), Bloomberg reported, "Morgan Stanley plans to add cryptocurrency trading functionality to the E*TRADE platform," stating, "The project is still in its early stages, with the aim to launch the service next year, and is reviewing partnerships with several cryptocurrency companies." However, Morgan Stanley has not made an official statement regarding the matter.
The media outlet explained, "Morgan Stanley currently provides indirect cryptocurrency investment means such as ETFs, options, and futures to high-net-worth individuals," adding, "The integration with E*TRADE is an expansion into spot trading services for general investors."
