This is a 38% increase compared to the previous month (569 documents) and an 8% increase compared to the same period last year (727 documents). The average monthly mentions from January 2024 to March 2025 were 457.

Mentions related to stablecoins have also surged in recent months. From January 2024 to January 2025, they were mentioned an average of 48 times per month, but from February to April 2025, the average jumped to 103 times per month. The monthly mentions during this period were 81 in February, 124 in March, and 104 in April.

The media analyzed this phenomenon as a result of expectations for clearer and more consistent new regulations and the possibility of future regulatory announcements by the SEC.
