LINE NEXT Corporation and the Kaia DLT Foundation announced on the 8th that they are collaborating with global stablecoin issuer Tether to offer Tether (USDT) on LINE NEXT's platform. The previous day, Tether announced the issuance of USDT based on the Kaia mainnet.

LINE NEXT plans to integrate USDT issued on the Kaia blockchain network with various web3 services based on LINE Messenger, allowing users to conveniently utilize web3 services.

Initially, LINE NEXT will introduce USDT on the Kaia network as a payment and remittance method for LINE Messenger-based mini dApp services. Additionally, USDT will be offered as a reward within the mini dApp services to enhance stablecoin accessibility.

Youngsoo Ko, CEO of LINE NEXT, stated, "We aim to provide a dollar gateway in Asia through the introduction of USDT," and "Our goal is to enable users to use web3 services in their daily lives by introducing stablecoin-based services."
