On the 8th (local time), Steve Young Kim, Director of Binance, stated at the 'Gopax Victim Relief Seminar' held in the 10th conference room of the National Assembly Members' Office Building in Yeouido, Seoul, "When Binance decided to acquire Gopax, it was not a commercial calculation," and added, "(Although the acquisition approval is being delayed) we will not give up and intend to stand with the victims."
The founder and executives of Binance also expressed their sincerity in victim recovery. Director Steve said, "The founders of Binance, as industry leaders, proceeded with the acquisition with the thought of compensating the victims even if it meant going to great lengths," and added, "Although the amount of damage has increased over time, the founders and executives still feel a sense of responsibility for victim recovery."
Finally, he also expressed his intention to work hard for the acquisition. He emphasized, "I empathize with the victims as if it were a family matter, beyond the company's business," and added, "I hope the upcoming government will look into these pains. If the authorities point out the shortcomings, we will strive to resolve them."
