President Putin assessed that "the talks with President Xi were very productive," and that "bilateral relations have reached the highest level in history."
He further emphasized that "the two countries share common or similar approaches to major international issues."
RIA Novosti reported that President Putin and President Xi are expected to discuss sensitive issues such as the Ukraine ceasefire negotiations and tariff issues through informal talks over an official luncheon and tea time.
