Taiwanese legislator Ko Ju-Chun has officially proposed that the government include Bitcoin (BTC) in the national reserves alongside gold and foreign exchange reserves.

According to the cryptocurrency-focused media outlet WuBlockchain on the 9th, legislator Ko Ju-Chun recently stated in a parliamentary speech, "Bitcoin has the characteristics of a hedge asset. Including it in the reserves can contribute to enhancing the resilience and adaptability of Taiwan's financial system."
