[Breaking News] People Power Party "Cancel Kim Moon-soo's Election, Proceed with Han Deok-soo's Admission and Candidate Registration"

The unification negotiations between Kim Moon-soo, the presidential candidate of the People Power Party, and Han Deok-soo, an independent preliminary candidate, have broken down, prompting the leadership of the People Power Party to initiate the process of re-electing a presidential candidate.

On the 10th, the People Power Party announced that it is proceeding with the cancellation of Kim Moon-soo's candidacy and the admission of Han Deok-soo, an independent preliminary presidential candidate, to re-elect him as the party's presidential candidate.

Shin Dong-wook, the chief spokesperson of the People Power Party, stated, "We have begun the process of re-electing a candidate," adding, "The re-election process stipulated in the party's constitution and regulations is intricate, so it will take time until dawn."

The People Power Party plans to go through the emergency committee and election committee processes to decide on the re-election of a candidate and then conduct a party-wide vote asking for approval or disapproval.
