An analysis has emerged suggesting that Ethereum (ETH) may exhibit more explosive price movements than Bitcoin (BTC) in the future.

On the 12th (local time), Sean Dawson, founder of Derive (Derive.xyz), stated in an interview with The Block, "Currently, Bitcoin's 7-day price volatility has slightly increased from 37% to 42%," but added, "Ethereum's volatility reached nearly 90% after rising from 52% before stabilizing again. This suggests that Ethereum could show larger price movements than Bitcoin in the future." He further added, "Ethereum's performance surpasses Bitcoin, and it is likely to reach $4,000."

Additionally, he assessed that the virtual asset (cryptocurrency) market is in an optimistic mood. He said, "Considering the increase in institutional adoption and macroeconomic stabilization, the market outlook for this year is optimistic." Furthermore, he elaborated, "Bitcoin is also expected to reach $150,000 this year, and considering the optimistic atmosphere, $200,000 is not an impossible target."
