It has been claimed that institutional 'Strategic Ethereum (ETH) Reserves (SER)' will surpass 10 million by May next year.
On the 14th (local time), BeInCrypto reported, "Institutional Ethereum reserves could exceed 10 million by May next year," adding that "this opinion is gaining traction among experts." This represents an approximately 1166% increase compared to the current institutional Ethereum holdings (789,705 ETH).
Furthermore, "An anonymous analyst stated that numerous protocols and Layer 2 (L2) projects will fiercely compete to stake and accumulate Ethereum," and "it is expected that over 10 million ETH will be reserved within a few years."
Anthony Sassano, co-founder of EtherHub, said, "Currently, institutional Ethereum reserves are less than 1 million, but in a year, they will exceed 10 million ETH," adding, "A gold rush towards Ethereum could be underway."
