According to Reuters and AP on the 14th (local time), President Trump, who embarked on a Middle East tour as his first foreign visit since taking office, held a summit with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on the second day of his tour. He then witnessed the signing ceremony with Qatar Airways CEO Badr Mohammed Al Meer and Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg.
President Trump said, "It's a truly great, record-breaking deal worth over $200 billion," and added, "Congratulations to Boeing." He also emphasized, "It's the largest aircraft order in Boeing's history," and called it "a pretty good deal."
