Jack McDonald, Vice President of the Stablecoin Division at Ripple (XRP), stated that "stablecoins are a meaningful innovation in global payments."

According to CoinDesk on the 14th (local time), Vice President McDonald made this statement at 'Consensus 2025' held in Toronto, Canada. He said, "Stablecoins are an alternative to the US dollar payment," adding that "(when using stablecoins) payments can be made frictionlessly and cost-effectively." He further mentioned, "In the next five years, stablecoins will become more widespread and reshape existing finance."

Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken also emphasized the innovation of stablecoins. Mark Greenberg, Head of Consumer Division at Kraken, stated at Consensus 2025, "It is excessively difficult to move funds globally," and "what we are seeing now is a turning point towards the solution of stablecoins."
