The Financial Services Commission announced on the 15th that five cryptocurrency businesses, including Dunamu, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, and Streami, have joined as members of the Financial Security Institute.
These exchanges will receive various security services provided by the Financial Security Institute, including ▲24-hour security monitoring ▲abnormal transaction information sharing ▲incident response ▲IT vulnerability analysis.
The Financial Services Commission expects this measure to contribute to the protection of cryptocurrency users and the enhancement of market credibility.
At the financial security enhancement meeting held on this day, the Financial Security Institute emphasized the need to advance security monitoring to respond to new risks such as digital assets and AI (artificial intelligence).
The Financial Supervisory Service plans to form a task force (TF) with DAXA (Digital Asset Exchange Joint Consultative Body) to prevent system failures and security incidents for IT stability and user protection.
