It has been revealed that the combined Bitcoin (BTC) holdings of BlackRock and Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) amount to approximately 1.19 million.
On the 16th (local time), the cryptocurrency-focused media outlet Bitcoin Archive reported, "Strategy currently holds a total of 568,840 BTC, and BlackRock's spot ETF 'iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT)' has expanded its accumulation to 627,985 BTC," adding, "Their holdings are about six times that of Grayscale's peak holdings."
The media further noted, "Major institutions such as Goldman Sachs and the Abu Dhabi Sovereign Wealth Fund have purchased over $5 billion (approximately 6.8 trillion KRW) worth of Bitcoin in just the past week."
