Upbit Unveils 'Upbit Pizza' with Chef Yoon Nam-no

Dunamu, which operates the virtual asset exchange Upbit, announced on the 19th that it will launch 'Upbit Pizza' in collaboration with Chef Yoon Nam-no.

The 'Upbit Pizza', created by Upbit and Chef Yoon Nam-no, uses 100% domestically produced beets as a topping, reminiscent of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Pizza Day is a day that commemorates the first instance of purchasing pizza with Bitcoin in Florida, USA, in 2010, carrying symbolic significance. Upbit plans to convey the meaning of Bitcoin Pizza Day more familiarly this year by planning an actual edible 'Upbit Pizza'.

The 'Upbit Pizza', infused with Chef Yoon Nam-no's unique creative flair, cleverly combines the dual meaning of Bitcoin's 'Bit' and the root vegetable 'beet'. It is expected to enhance not only taste and nutrition but also the symbolic meaning and fun of Bitcoin Pizza Day, according to the company.

A Dunamu representative said, "We introduced Upbit Pizza to widely promote the symbolism of Bitcoin Pizza Day in a unique way," adding, "We are delighted to present a special pizza that delivers both taste and message with Chef Yoon Nam-no."

The 'Upbit Pizza', made with Chef Yoon Nam-no's recipe, can be tasted at the 'Upbit Pizza Attack' event held at Konkuk University on the 22nd. Chef Yoon Nam-no will be on-site to bake the 'Upbit Pizza' himself.

Additionally, the 'Upbit Pizza' will be available for pre-order through a reservation link opening on the 20th and will be provided for free on a first-come, first-served basis. It may end early if the quantity is exhausted.
