Dunamu announced on the 21st that it will hold the '2025 Upbit Pizza Day' to celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day (22nd).

Dunamu has been hosting 'Upbit Pizza Day' annually since 2019. The main event of this year's Upbit Pizza Day is the 'Pizza NFT (Non-Fungible Token) Free Raffle Drops', which will take place from 11 AM to 6 PM on May 22nd. Participants can join by accessing the NFT Free Raffle Drops page within UpbitNFT, answering a quiz related to Pizza Day, and clicking the entry button.

A total of 2,025 members selected through a draw will receive a Papa John's pizza set worth 40,000 KRW, including a Super Papa's Original Large, Chicken Strips, and a 1.25L Coca-Cola. Prizes will be sent via KakaoTalk notification.

In addition to pizza, winning members will also receive NFTs of paintings by youth from childcare facilities. A total of 15 artworks were selected from the final winning entries of the 'Nadu-Upbit Artist' competition, in which youth from childcare facilities participated last year, themed around Upbit Pizza Day.

Meanwhile, Dunamu donates pizzas to underprivileged youth in childcare facilities, matching the amount of pizza given to event participants each year. The pizzas used for donations are purchased through small businesses, including 'Good Neighbor Store', which has been regularly donating to Good Neighbors, thereby supporting small businesses.

Since starting the pizza donation in 2022, Dunamu has donated approximately 10,000 pizzas over the past three years, reaching about 3,000 children and adolescents annually. In 2024, a total of 219 pizza donations were made to 2,930 children and adolescents across 73 institutions nationwide, and this year, the donation scale and scope will be expanded to include educationally disadvantaged students in Seoul-type educational welfare schools.

Lee Seok-woo, CEO of Dunamu, said, "Just as Pizza Day marked the birth of digital finance, we hope Upbit Pizza Day can highlight the positive utility of digital assets," adding, "We ask for your interest and participation so that more children can share a warm spring and warm happiness."
