According to the cryptocurrency-focused media outlet O Daily on the 22nd, Méliuz stated, "The company plans to raise at least 150 million reais (approximately $26.5 million) through the issuance of stocks or convertible bonds, in collaboration with the investment bank BTG Pactual."
Previously, Méliuz purchased approximately $28.4 million worth of Bitcoin, becoming the first Brazilian listed company to include Bitcoin on its balance sheet.
