Global cryptocurrency exchange Kraken plans to list major US company stocks such as Apple, Tesla, and Nvidia in the form of digital tokens.
According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) on the 22nd (local time), Kraken will offer more than 50 stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as 'tokenized equities' to investors outside the United States. These assets will be issued based on blockchain technology and can be traded 24/7, unlike traditional stock markets.
Kraken stated, "This service is intended to make it easier for non-US investors to access US stocks," and added, "While they are traded in a manner similar to traditional stocks, they possess the flexibility of digital assets."
