The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is reviewing a proposal from Nasdaq PHLX to list and trade Bitcoin Index Options, as reported by Defiant on the 23rd (local time).

Last August, Nasdaq submitted an application to the SEC for 'Bitcoin Index Options' to provide institutions and traders with an alternative way to hedge exposure to Bitcoin.
