AI Verification Protocol Lagrange Launches Official Foundation to Support Ecosystem Growth

The AI verification protocol Lagrange announced on the 24th that it has launched an official foundation. The foundation will operate independently from the existing Lagrange Labs and will be responsible for overall network operations.

Lagrange Labs is a team composed of blockchain industry veterans and professors from Yale University in the United States, providing a technological foundation with the philosophy that 'trustworthy AI begins with Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZK), and a secure future begins with Lagrange.'

The main technology is Zero-Knowledge Machine Learning (zkML). This verifies that AI models can perform accurate computations without disclosing input data. Lagrange's zkML technology, DeepProve, is characterized by its fast proof generation speed, operating 54 to 158 times faster than existing zkML.

The team stated, "The launch of the foundation is a significant organizational change in the Lagrange ecosystem, marking a crucial milestone in building a verifiable next-generation internet through the advancement of AI and ZK technology," and "Technology research and development will be handled by Labs, while overall ecosystem growth will be managed by the foundation, operating as independent organizations with different goals."

The foundation plans to expand the use cases of the technology, focusing on maintaining and overseeing the 'Lagrange Prover Network,' and will support ecosystem projects with business development opportunities, marketing support, technical guidance, and advisory services.
