It has been claimed that global companies will hold half of the total Bitcoin (BTC) supply by 2045.

According to cryptocurrency media outlet Cointelegraph on the 24th, Jesse Myers, Bitcoin Strategy Lead at Moon, stated on X (formerly Twitter), "Companies holding Bitcoin will eventually hold more than half of the total supply in the long term," adding, "This far exceeds what most Bitcoin investors imagine."

He emphasized, "Currently, Bitcoin accounts for only 0.2% of the world's $100 trillion in assets, but capital movement from fiat-based assets to hard money (Bitcoin and gold) has already begun."

He continued, "Bond capital worth $318 trillion is seeking new stores of value," explaining, "In the coming decades, major buyers of Bitcoin will be corporate holders."

Meanwhile, Myers also predicted that Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) will hold a total of $70 trillion worth of Bitcoin by 2045. Currently, Strategy holds approximately 576,320 BTC (worth about $62.2 billion).
