- The first investment target is DeepCore, and there are expectations for interaction between smart contracts and AI in a multi-chain environment.

Orbiter Finance, an Ethereum-based cross-chain bridge project that recently gained attention by being selected for Binance Alpha, announced on the 24th that it has launched a $3 million On-Chain AI Fund to promote technological collaboration between blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI).
The On-Chain AI Fund was launched to support early-stage AI projects such as on-chain AI model deployment and cross-chain AI agents. The aim is to address the high entry barriers and inefficiencies of blockchain-based AI applications.
Orbiter stated, "AI should pursue decentralization by utilizing blockchain technology, and blockchain should further develop by using AI technology," adding, "This AI fund launch is part of a strategic plan to accelerate the convergence of Web3 and AI."
The AI fund will operate on various chains, including Solana (SOL), Binance Coin (BNB) Chain, and Base (BASE), and will support AI projects with funding and technology in an automated manner using smart contracts.
Notably, integration with the Orbiter ecosystem is not a priority. An Orbiter representative said, "Any AI project with an innovative narrative and a feasible roadmap can attract investment," adding, "Integration with our ecosystem is not important." The fund, established to accelerate AI adoption in the industry, is open to any project with superior technology and structure.
The first investment target is the decentralized AI agent project DeepCore. DeepCore provides developers with low-cost, highly scalable AI model training and inference services by connecting computing resources worldwide.
An Orbiter spokesperson expressed optimism, stating, "DeepCore is the first cross-chain request-based AI agent project," and "This investment will enable seamless interaction between smart contracts and AI functions in a multi-chain environment."
Furthermore, expectations for collaboration between the blockchain and AI industries were expressed. Orbiter emphasized, "DeepCore is just the beginning. Soon, various on-chain AI projects will emerge in the industry," adding, "We will support early-stage AI projects to accelerate AI adoption in the Web3 industry in the long term."
