Lagrange Unveils Tokenomics... Airdrop Registration Starts on the 29th

The AI verification protocol Lagrange announced on the 27th that it will issue its native token LA. Airdrop registration will begin on the 29th.

Lagrange is a project that provides a technical foundation for fast and accurate AI verification through Zero-Knowledge Machine Learning (zkML). Following the foundation's launch on the 24th, it is accelerating ecosystem development with the issuance of tokens.

The LA token is a utility token that coordinates the interests of users, clients, and token holders participating in the decentralized proof activities of the Lagrange network. It primarily functions in client proof fees, prover cost subsidies, and staking.

Clients pay fees for proof requests in LA, Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), etc. A portion of this is rewarded to provers. If paid in ETH or USDC, the funds are used to repurchase LA, forming a virtuous cycle that stimulates token demand.

The annual issuance is fixed at 4%, distributed according to prover activity. Additionally, clients pay only part of the total cost for proof requests, with protocol issuance supplementing prover rewards. Holders can stake or delegate to specific provers, reducing circulation to maintain token value or concentrating funds in high-demand proof areas.

The Lagrange Foundation stated, "LA is a core asset that will drive a self-sustaining economic system on the Lagrange network and marks the beginning of Lagrange's full journey. It will be a stepping stone towards verifiable AI and a decentralized internet."

LA airdrop registration will be conducted on the official website from 1 AM on the 29th to 1 AM on the 2nd of the following month. All users who have participated in Lagrange ZK proofs in the past can participate, and eligible users will receive LA at the Token Generation Event (TGE).
