The advanced trading platform Coinbase Advanced, under the US virtual asset exchange Coinbase Financial Markets, will support 24-hour Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) futures trading.
On the 29th (local time), Coinbase announced on its official blog: "On Coinbase Advanced, Bitcoin and Ethereum futures contracts can now be traded 24/7," adding, "Previously, futures trading was only available from Sunday to Friday."
Coinbase plans to gradually expand the range of assets eligible for 24-hour futures trading. "Within the next few weeks, we will expand full-time trading access to additional futures contracts, starting with Solana (SOL) and XRP," Coinbase said.
