Arthur Hayes, former BitMEX CEO, predicted that Ethereum (ETH) could reach up to $5,000 within the year.
On the 29th (local time), at the 'Bitcoin 2025' conference held in Las Vegas, Hayes was interviewed by Decrypt and stated, "Ethereum could rise to between $4,000 and $5,000 this year." He added, "Ethereum is the most hated Layer 1 asset," and "that's why I believe Ethereum can perform even better."
Meanwhile, Hayes also claimed earlier this month that the price of Bitcoin (BTC) could reach as high as $1 million by 2028. He stated, "Repatriation of foreign capital and the devaluation of US Treasury bonds will be the main catalysts."
