On the 28th (local time), World announced on its official blog that it has started a pilot service delivering the Orb right to users' doors via Rappi in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Orb is a biometric authentication device based on iris recognition developed by World. Previously, users had to visit locations where the Orb was installed, but now they can request Orb visits via the Rappi app.

A spokesperson from World said, "This partnership is an important milestone in our mission to make secure and anonymous digital identity systems accessible to everyone," adding, "This will help millions of people easily obtain World ID from their homes." World plans to expand the service area nationwide across Argentina to increase accessibility to this type of authentication.
