According to virtual asset (cryptocurrency) specialist media BlockBeats on the 5th (local time), Ministry of Commerce spokesperson He Yongqian stated at a regular briefing, “Since the Sino-U.S. Geneva trade agreement announced on the 12th, China has responsibly fulfilled its obligations.” He criticized, “However, right after the meeting, the United States repeatedly imposed regulatory measures against China, seriously undermining the joint agreement.”
The Ministry declared, “China expresses strong dissatisfaction and firm opposition,” and warned, “If the U.S. continues to enforce unilateral actions, China will also take strong measures to protect its legitimate rights and interests.”
