Regarding the United States debt ceiling issue, Mike Johnson, Speaker of the United States House, expressed his view that passing a tax bill is necessary.

According to Walter Bloomberg, an overseas economic news channel, Johnson stated on the 5th, "The best way to address the United States' debt ceiling issue is to pass a tax bill." He added, "It's difficult to deal with the debt ceiling issue through other means."

He also appealed to foreign investors by saying, "Now is a good time to invest in the United States," urging them to invest. Additionally, he said, "We are closely monitoring the movements of the United States Treasury market."
