On the 6th, the SEC announced that it will hold a roundtable event titled 'Crypto Task Force Roundtable – DeFi and the American Spirit' at its Washington, D.C. headquarters at 1:00 p.m. (local time) on the 9th, featuring both in-person and online participation.

This meeting is part of the SEC's Crypto Task Force's 'Spring Sprint Toward Crypto Clarity' series, which aims to achieve regulatory clarity for virtual assets (cryptocurrencies). Online viewing will be available without prior registration, and on-site attendance is also permitted.

The roundtable will begin at 1:00 p.m. (local time) with opening remarks. The opening session will feature Richard B. Gabbert, Crypto Task Force Executive Secretary, along with SEC Commissioners Paul S. Atkins, Caroline A. Crenshaw, Mark T. Uyeda, and Hester M. Peirce—all expected to attend.
