On the 7th (local time), crypto-focused media BlockBeet cited official data from the Ministry of Finance of El Salvador, reporting that "El Salvador had net purchased 8 Bitcoins over the past 7 days, bringing its total holdings to 6,200.18 BTC." Based on current market prices, the value of these assets is approximately $652 million.
Meanwhile, El Salvador became the first country in the world to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender in 2021 and has continued to purchase Bitcoin since then.
