Summary
- OpenSea reported a record high of 467,322 monthly active users, marking the highest level since mid-2023.
- The rise in users was attributed to the official launch of OS/2 and expectations for user rewards.
- However, the monthly trading volume on NFT platforms was evaluated at $81 million, remaining low compared to 2022.

The monthly active users of the non-fungible token (NFT) exchange OpenSea have seen a significant increase.
According to The Block on the 9th (local time), OpenSea's monthly active users last month reached 467,322. This is the highest number since mid-2023. The outlet stated, "The increase in monthly users was influenced by the recent official launch of OpenSea's OS/2 and rising expectations for user rewards," adding, "Given the current number of users in June (236,091), this month could see an even higher user count."
However, the outlet also assessed that "NFT platform monthly trading volume remains at a low level." Previously, in January 2022, the monthly NFT trading volume exceeded $5 billion, but last month the volume was only $81 million.
