In his presidential address, he stated, "After consultation with economic experts and a rigorous evaluation, we are promulgating a law that officially recognizes BTC as legal tender," adding, "A BTC reserve of $5 million will be established."

In relation to this, the virtual asset (cryptocurrency) news X account DB pointed out, "There are suspicions that this post may be false."

Meanwhile, it was confirmed that the post was deleted from President Peña's X account.
