Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether (USDT), announced on X (formerly Twitter) on the 10th (local time) that "the second version (v2) of Tether's self-developed Wallet Development Kit (WDK) will be released soon."

He added, "WDK is the first open-source self-custody wallet infrastructure that synchronizes nodes and broadcasts transactions through a P2P swarm," and "Rumble Wallet is being developed based on the WDK architecture."

Previously, last month, he stated that WDK would be made open source.
