The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has reportedly requested issuers of Solana (SOL) spot Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) to submit amended S-1 registration statement forms.
On the 11th (local time), SolidIntel announced on X (formerly Twitter) that "the SEC asked issuers of Solana spot ETFs to submit revised S-1 forms."
They further stated, "This means that approval for Solana spot ETFs could come as early as July," and added, "Ethereum (ETH) spot ETFs were also required to submit amended S-1 forms before approval." Previously, final approval for the Ethereum spot ETF was granted after submission of the revised S-1 filing.
