"North Korean diplomats in New York reject"

NK News, a US-based English news outlet specializing in North Korea, reported that North Korean diplomats based in the United States rejected receipt of a letter sent by President Trump to Chairman Kim Jong-un in an effort to restore dialogue channels with North Korea.
On the 11th (local time), the outlet cited a high-level anonymous source, reporting, "President Trump has drafted a letter addressed to North Korean State Affairs Commission Chairman Kim Jong-un with the aim of resuming talks."
However, despite multiple attempts to deliver the letter, it was stated that North Korean diplomats in Manhattan, New York, refused to take it. North Korean diplomats are believed to refer to the country's Permanent Mission to the UN in New York, known as the so-called 'New York channel.'
The US Department of State, when asked about the issue, said, "We do not comment on potential diplomatic discussions," and advised to contact the White House directly, but the White House also did not respond, according to NK News.
