According to the virtual asset (cryptocurrency) analysis platform Unfolded on the 16th (local time), it has been confirmed that JPMorgan Chase has filed a trademark application under the name 'JPMD.'

Within the industry, this is interpreted as a preliminary move to prepare for the launch of its own stablecoin or digital payment asset.
