Despite Bitcoin (BTC) prices approaching all-time highs, it has been analyzed that exchange trading volumes are at their lowest levels in years.

On the 17th (local time), a caueconomy CryptoQuant contributor stated in a report, "Even with Bitcoin prices near all-time highs, the trading volume of virtual assets on exchanges is at its lowest level in years," adding, "This indicates that retail investor interest remains low."

They further commented, "The low trading volume may be due to the launch of virtual asset Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs)," but added, "The diminished expectations for altcoins are also one of the main factors." They continued, "Currently, the market is being led by cautious investors rather than speculators," and emphasized, "It is important to watch for when trading volume surges in the future."
