Over the past 24 hours, the notional value of liquidated positions in the perpetual cryptocurrency futures market recorded $362 million.

According to CoinGlass data on the 17th (local time), a total of $362 million worth of futures positions were liquidated in the crypto market over the past 24 hours. Escalating conflict between Iran and Israel led to a predominance of long position liquidations. Specifically, $238.61 million in long positions were liquidated, while short positions saw $123.40 million in liquidations.

Ethereum (ETH) experienced the largest amount of liquidations, with $121.49 million in positions liquidated over 24 hours. Of this, $79.45 million were long positions and $42.04 million were short positions. Bitcoin (BTC) ranked second, with $83.99 million in liquidations during the same period. Long and short position liquidations were $38.28 million and $45.72 million, respectively.

As of 10:50 p.m., on the Binance USDT market, Bitcoin and Ethereum are trading at $105,407 and $2,554 respectively, down 1.25% and 2.63%.
