Canadian asset management company Evolve Funds Group is set to list an XRP (XRP) Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
According to sources on the 18th (local time), Evolve announced via a press release, "Evolve XRP ETF will be listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange," and added, "Final approval from the exchange is currently pending." The ticker for the Canadian dollar (CAD) unhedged product will be 'XRP', while the U.S. dollar product will use 'XRP.U'. If approval is granted, trading will begin as of the 18th (local time).
Elliot Johnson, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Evolve, stated, "As regulation on virtual assets becomes clearer, we believe XRP will become a key infrastructure for the future of finance," adding, "The Evolve XRP ETF is built based on practical utility."
