Nobitex, Iran's largest virtual asset (cryptocurrency) exchange, which reportedly suffered hacking damage amounting to $81.7 million, has completed measures to protect user assets.

On the 18th (local time), Nobitex announced on X (formerly Twitter), "We have identified unauthorized access in some systems earlier" and added, "Subsequently, we took immediate actions to contain the damage and implemented measures to protect user assets." These measures included: △transferring hot wallet assets to cold wallets, △separating Nobitex-related servers within the data server, △performing system restoration tasks, and △conducting an investigation on asset damage.

They also stated, "All user balances and account data have been completely preserved," and continued, "Once platform access is restored, users will be able to utilize it as before the incident." Furthermore, they added, "We are working in close cooperation with Iran’s cyber police (FATA) to recover from the damage."
