Staked Ethereum Surpasses 35 Million—28.3% of Total Supply
Summary
- The amount of Ethereum staked on the network has surpassed a record 35 million, accounting for 28.3% of the total supply.
- With the recent completion of the Pectra upgrade, the staking limit per validator was lifted to 2,048 ETH, resulting in improved network stability and greater incentives for participation.
- Long-term holding based on staking has strengthened, while the price has dropped 5.7% from the previous day to $2,288 due to high uncertainty.

The amount of Ethereum (ETH) staked on the network has reached an all-time high.
According to CryptoRank data on the 21st (local time), the number of Ethereum currently staked has exceeded 35 million, which is equivalent to 28.3% of the total supply of Ethereum.
This achievement is attributed to the recent 'Pectra' upgrade. By boosting the maximum staking limit per validator from 32 to 2,048 ETH through this upgrade, validators can now conduct large-scale staking with a single node.
For validators, this reduces operational complexity and costs, while for the entire Ethereum ecosystem, it strengthens the network's stability and incentives to participate. As a result, long-term holding tendencies based on staking are also expected to strengthen and may act as a price stabilizing factor on the supply side.
However, Ethereum's price is showing weakness. This is due to concerns that uncertainty in the Middle East will intensify after the United States directly struck Iran's major nuclear facilities. On this day, Ethereum is trading at $2,288 on the Binance Tether (USDT) market, down 5.7% from the previous day.
