On the 22nd (local time), President Trump posted on the social networking service (SNS) Truth Social, stating, "Using the term 'regime change' may not be politically correct, but if the current Iranian regime fails to make Iran great again, why wouldn't there be regime change?"
Trump's administration has repeatedly emphasized that the reason for airstrikes on Iran's nuclear facilities was not regime change, but to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
President Trump also mentioned that the pilots of the B-2 bomber, who carried out the mission to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities, had just landed safely at the Air Force base in Missouri.
