The Presidential Office announced this in a written briefing on the 23rd, adding that the specific schedule will be announced once finalized.
The previous day, the Presidential Office announced President Lee's absence from the NATO summit. Spokesperson Kang Yoo-jung for the Presidential Office explained, "Although the President had actively considered attending the NATO summit despite pressing national affairs since his inauguration, it was determined that due to various domestic issues and uncertainties arising from the Middle East situation, it was absolutely impossible for him to attend in person."
