US President Donald Trump expressed an agitated response on the 24th (local time), stating that both Israel and Iran had violated the ceasefire agreement.
According to foreign media including AP and Reuters, President Trump, while leaving the White House in the morning to attend the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit, told reporters, "They violated it (the ceasefire), and Israel did as well," adding, "I do not like Israel."
He further emphasized on his social networking service, Truth Social, "Israel. Do not drop those bombs. If you do, it is a serious violation. Call the pilots back, now!"
Earlier that day, Trump had announced that a ceasefire between Israel and Iran had taken effect.
Israel and Iran also acknowledged the ceasefire, and with the Middle East’s military tensions, which had sharply escalated due to Israel's preemptive strike on Iran on the 13th, reaching their twelfth day, it seemed to be subsiding.
However, Israel claimed that Iran had fired missiles even after the ceasefire, warning of a strong response, while Iran countered that this was not true.
