- The campaign aims to introduce the Taiko ecosystem to Korean hardware wallet users and others, offering them an opportunity to experience it directly.
- Taiko's fast block generation, network flexibility, and simultaneous pursuit of decentralization and accessibility are notable from an investment perspective.

Hardware wallet brand D'CENT, operated by IoTrust, announced it will launch the third season of its Tap That Drop Web3 campaign with Taiko (TAIKO).
Tap That Drop is an interactive campaign that offers D'CENT app users a variety of quests and rewards through collaborations with Web3 projects, with each episode featuring a different partner project.
This third campaign’s partner, Taiko, is a based rollup that runs in an Ethereum-equivalent environment while aiming for complete decentralization and a block creation structure open to anyone. Anyone can participate as a block proposer or prover, pursuing both openness and decentralization.

Taiko demonstrated its foundational technology through the 2023 Troll Testnet, and has been recognized by Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin as an "ideal rollup." Recently, it has tested based preconfirmation features on the Hekla testnet, achieving fast block generation speeds of around 2 seconds, and increases network flexibility and reliability by running three open-source sequencer clients, developed by Nethermind, Chainbound, and Gatta, in parallel.
This campaign is part of a global user onboarding initiative celebrating Taiko's first anniversary, providing Korean market and hardware wallet users with an opportunity to discover and experience the Taiko ecosystem firsthand.
A Taiko representative stated, "The security and usability focus of D'CENT hardware wallet users aligns with Taiko's philosophy of decentralization and accessibility," adding, "This campaign is a great opportunity to introduce Taiko to new users."
